Hongkong (Day 1 Flight)

Guess what, this is my 3rd time blogging abt it, been trying in vain for to upload using my iPhone 6, sighz. but I think can only blog a short paragraph plus couple of pics on iPhone. So now i'm typing away on my laptop, hehe, lets hope this will go through!

been thinking whether to blog abt hk trip, at first was too lazy but a part of me wanna capture the moment somewhere, esp when tin grows up. it seems that age 3, tin seems to understand the concept of a holiday. :)

on the day of the flight, he woke up bright and cheery, then off we went. my review on Cathay was so-so, but mostly it's due to MR's fault, he bought adult tix for tin?!? so no baby food nor toy :( another thing to note is that food is served quite slowly (they do not use trolley so food was served 2by2, I almost died of hunger when my food arrived...) only saving grace was their in-flight entertainment. it was a milestone for tin as he was finally able to keep still in a flight, watching his dora and Thomas in front of him, phew (compared to our previous trip where poor me had to walk up and down the aisle with him)

Finally got down to the temple to pray, felt at peace after that. 

Garden by the bay

心血来潮想去gardens by the bay, so off we went :)

Wah I did not know the restaurant at the entrance has changed to Mac,much to Tin's delight! He loves fries with ketchup! And I'm happy too, I love shaker fries with seaweed, yummy!!

Took the ride, costs $19 for 3 of us. Saw many trees, duh..didn't know the place is so big.

Ended with Mac Oreo Macflurry, hehe

Yay, no more med!

Finished my course of Ab today, hope this will mark the end of month-long illness! Hope all swayness will be gone!  

Hope I'll be healthy and happy again!

Still coughing

Well, guess the worst is over, a quick recap of what went through for last 3weeks: stomach flu then cough then bad fall then rashes then swollen eyes!?? And today lng... Oh well, the worst better be over *cross fingers*

During this period had a lot of 'me' time, a lot of reflections of life... At the end of the day, what matters most is to be happy and healthy!

Never-ending

Today woke up bright and early, finally felt better to go work, but once reached office, colleagues ask what happened to my hands and legs?! I didn't realize my limbs were covered with horrid red rashes!!! 

Went to see my family doc who said likely they are hives due to haze but to be safe. I need to stop my antibiotics... And he asked me to rest at home and sleep...

First had a bad bout of gastric flu, followed by nasty cough followed by falling flat on my face (big black bruises on my knee and elbow) followed by big patches of rashes...

I think my body is giving up on me. 

Please...may tmr be a BETTER day...

Things have been going wrong health-wise. First diarrhea (thanks to stupid laksa) then horrid cough (thanks to stupid haze) and guess what? I fell flat on my face today... And had a bruise on my ankle as big as a fist on my knee :( really hope I've maxed out my 'sway-ness', please let things get better!

Major crave for baked potato

Nope I'm not preggies.... But ever since I had that horrid-to-the-max gastric flu, I was craving for baked potatoes! no.idea.why. 

When I think of baked potatoes, I can only think of 2places: jack's place and delifrance...even google teacher only directed me to jack's place.

So off to jacks place we went. Tintin had a yummylicious kids fish and chips meal with drink at a unbelievable $7. Am happy that he's trying and enjoying food other than his oh-so-boring udon mee and chawanmushi...:)

Satisfying meals for all. It was a good evening.

Happy mid-autumn shopping!

Went taka for our yearly mooncake shopping! We are no fans of mooncake but thought shd preserve the tradition, hehe

Finally decided on grand Hyatt snowskin! Original $69 but they ran out of box so selling $60 then got Uob card discount so final price $51!?! 超值得! Who cares abt box when they are just gg to be in the tummy?!

Did not get traditional moon cakes as my parents have gotten them fm Johor. They went for a day Johor mooncake trip, how cool is that!

Was expecting endorphins after the morning run but still was vexed.

On way home, I saw a toddler pulling a small trolley followed by his little bro with a smaller trolley and I SMILED. 

Sometimes it doesn't take a lot to be happy :)

Woke up early,a rare occasion,thought it's a sign to go jogging.

Ran 4 rounds and nearly died.. That's only 10min.. Gosh, what happened to the young active girl that can run 2 rounds ard nus campus???

On a bright side, 6.30am air is fresh with birds singing, definitely a mood uplifter!
