Kim's prawn mee

Stupid massive jam at ECP. Freaking 1.5h!?!? Followed by a long meeting in the morning.I can never understand why meetings can't be short and sweet...

Had the craving for prawn mee for lunch, then I remembered dad recommended Kim's prawn mee fm upper Changi road, so went to dabao.

One word, yummy!!! I finished 3/4 of the whole packet which is a huge achievement!! I usually have super duper small appetite these days.

this week was tribute to MJ, a person whom everyone respects and admires. very talented.

loved it when chris renee sang my fave song: i'll be there and ended with a bang by melanie amaro with 'earth song', also one of my fave.

googled for the earth song MV, cos i forgotten how it was like. gosh, it's sure one MV that can bring tears to one eyes, very moving

happy lunch!

went out with colleagues to clementi for lunch, was a big group, 9 of us and we squeezed into a 7-seater, how amazing.

as first time squeezing, stupid us put 3 big sized guys plus 1 lady in the middle row, and damn funny, the guys were squashed like prata. totally looking like monkeys with their awkward positions.

very un-heng to see a TP otw but heng that he turned into another direction, phew, all of us were holding our breath.

lunch was pretty good in a crowded clementi hawker, appetite's improving.

coming was better, we strategized before attempting the big squeeze. now with 2 big guys+ one lady behind and 1 guy + 3 girls in the middle, definitely more comfy.

laughed a lot throughout the trip. it's been a while since i laughed so much. seemed like moving to new location is pretty good :P

Rainy Friday

had a good sleep last night cos of the rainy weather, super dun wan to get up in the morning.

another sianz day of driving in the rain, it is very taxing to drive in rain.....

came to office bright and cheery and guess what, there's no bosses to be seen!grinz

Thought 1 way to get healthier is to record 10 happy things a day ;)

1) eaten yummy Chris kway chap at blk 216 Bedok hawker , my all-time fave, esp the 'Zhu pi' (pig skin)

2) retail therapy at my friendly neighborhood shop at blk 213, bought a skirt (comes with attached inner shorts) at $23 and a stripey dress at $5, omg, what a steal! Blogshops selling at $16.90*gasp* the heels was another steal I bought previously at $10, grinz

3) went to century square to walk walk, got shoe sale, hehe, but nothing caught my eye. Ended up buying stuff fm ice lemon tee, sale at 10 bucks per dress/jacket/top etc

4) went to catch small bite at burger king, tried the mini burger thingy, not bad.

5) cooking session again at home, minestrone soup with orange-flavour chicken, ate until full full,hehe

Think 5 happy things shall do for now, till then!

Mummy and daddy&apos;s gal

For those who do not noe, jam n I go back to our own homes once a week to spend time with our fam.

I always live gg home, being mummy and daddy's little gal, telling them my ups and downs.

Daddy usually buys me sumptuous breakfast, this time got sushi, Swiss roll and bread! He's very worried I go hungry, just like mummy, who makes a point to cook a feast whenever I'm home.

Like they said, home sweet home. :)

Bad thurs

Could not sleep on wed, even though very tired. Not sure well. I guess it's the mrt sound, very loud

Only good thing was x-factor, totally glued. Watching it purely for Simon cowell. And a bit for contestants Rachel and the trash collector rapper and the burrito maker.

Mundane week

Nothing much to update.

Met R yest at Biopolis by coincidence. He's drinking coffee while I was waiting for my colleagues. We chatted, it felt really good chatting with 'old frens' :)

These days tried to get bk to exercise. Started slowly with jog/walk in gym, then moved on to the nearby park. Taking a walk/jog in the park super calming and therapeutic.

Yest is my fave drama last episode. Totally miss laughing gor... Wonder next drama will be as nice too, grinz

long time no see

it's been a long while since i last blogged, at least 6 mths ago...

work was busy plus was quite 'sickly' this year, first a coughing bout, which took me over one mth to recover, after which, had a gastric bout which i'm still recovering from, sighz. 2011 not been a good year for me, who said 2011 is good for 'dogs'?!

but shd count my blessings, these are just some minor ailments. aniawez, looking at the bright side, the gastric helps me to detox, now i have a mini-weeny appetite, a far cry from the pitless appetite i had last time. I miss my food esp COKE!!

yest went to run, nearly fainted after 10min of slow jog. so ashamed of myself. today forced myself to run again, managed 15min before seeing stars.

i shd not rush myself, it takes time to heal, just have to stay happy all the time and i shall get well soon! :)
