Hectic week

Work is busy as usual, still thought holiday can relax a bit, oh well....

Last night woke up suddenly with neck ache, how sway can that be! After that whole night cannot sleep, so next morning had a aching neck plus eyebags plus big pimples,aarghh, how to look pretty for new yr, bleak

I need a break! Dreaming of Disneyland...

Been hearing gd reviews fm friends abt it, so decided to give a try...

The chocolate cake is HUGE! And yummy! J can't finish it it though cos it's too much

The 'elvis'cupcake, one of the top 3 selling,is Choco banana filling with peanut butter icing. It is ok at first bite, but it tastes better and better with time, haha. Can't taste the banana filling though, maybe cos the peanut butter icing is too overpowering...

The Earl grey matches well with the cakes..

Festive partying

This week went for a bit of partying cos it's Christmas!

Went to no 5, and kpo at orchard and beer market and shanghai dolly at CQ

Loved shanghai dolly best cos there's live band (canto mandarin pop) and did I mention the singers on the days are mostly guys and they look like 'fei lun hai'!! *drool*

busy weekday week

this week passes so fast, cos seem to have sth on after work everyday...

tues went to look at wedding card at Excelsior, but when we got there, there were at least 6 couples already sitting at little round tables placed outside the shop. i tot tiger yr no good for marriage?!? waited for half hr plus, but the lady boss was too busy, so we decided to leave :(

wed went to laobeijing to meet my vj galfrens, as lucky lx is flying off next week for one year to Japan! we ordered abt 9 courses of food and the last dish was e-mian, macam like chn wedding dinner,haha.

thurs went to a seminar cum science fest, won a $30 sushi tei voucher at a lucky draw!!! so happy! had jap as usual and we were teaching Cho Sensei the difference bet 'lor' and 'la' where 'lor' gives a hint of being irritated and 'la' is usually used humbly, haha.

fri went to see wedding card at American treasure, more or less settled. had authentic malay food nearby, the prata was yummy! then walked along haji lane, very happening place...did not dare to enter the clothes shops there as they seem to be quite costly,haha

having a mask while typing this,grinz,so gtg to take off the mask now.

it's been a long while since i updated....

is being busy an acceptable excuse? haha. i dun tink so, since i noe of really busy ppl who can still update their blogs...grinz

so what exactly am i busy with? new job (been one yr, time flies...), new flat, new interest (picking up jap, i tot german was difficult but jap is worse....), new plans (wedding and stuff)....that kindof sums it up,grinz

dunno why, start to feel like blogging again today,hmm, so here it goes:

dragged my mon-blued body to work today

went to get some toiletries fm bedok and brought the 'tunglok' bakhwa from my bedok home to my tanah merah home for dad to try, my dad loves bakhwa,haha

went to gym to have a short run,20min. 2nd time i ran this year. last week i ran and after 15min on the threadmill, began to see stars around my head, luckily there was a chair outside the gym where i huffed and puffed (must thank the kind soul who suggested for a chair to be outside the gym, if not someone will have to collect the fainted me home...) but this time round 20min, i can still walk 'normally',haha, might be becos they are showing 'the matrix'on the gym tv, and tom cruise kindof made the running easier,grinz

after that pampered myself with a short mask and did my nails. no money to go facial so...

watched 'the human spirit', one of my fave documentaries. today was on 'big foot'. admire the patients' strength and determination, their wonderful fam members' love and care, and the amazing doctors' skills...

will try to read a bit of jap before Zzzzzzzzzzz
