another blonde joke which is quite funny! :P

Death Row in Women's Prison
Three women are about to be executed. One''s a brunette, one''s a redhead, and one''s a blonde. The guard brings the brunette forward and the executioner asks if she has any last requests. She says no, and the executioner shouts, "Ready! Aim…"
Suddenly the brunette yells, "EARTHQUAKE!!!"
Everyone is startled and throws themselves on the ground while she escapes.
The guard brings the redhead forward and the executioner asks if she has any last requests. She say no, and the executioner shouts, "Ready! Aim…"
Suddenly the redhead yells, "TORNADO!!!"
Everyone is startled and looks around for cover while she escapes.
By now the blonde has it all figured out. The guard brings her forward and the executioner asks if she has any last requests. She says no, and the executioner shouts, "Ready! Aim…"
And the blonde yells, "FIRE!!!"

Funny!

The Most Gruesome Death
There was a long, long line of spirits at the gate waiting to get into heaven. Not all these spirits could fit into heaven, so the ones who died the worst death would be allowed in. The first man in line started telling his story, "Well, Peter, you see, I knew that my wife was cheating on me so I decided to come home early from work one day to catch them in action. I got home and searched all over but I couldn''t find him. Then when I walked out onto the balcony, there he was dangling off the darn thing by his fingertips. So I ran and got a hammer then started beating him with it and he fell. Well, the fall didn't kill him, because he landed in a bush so I picked up the refrigerator and threw it on him. Although that killed him, the strain gave me a heart attack, and here I am." The next man came up and started his story. "St. Peter, I always work out on my balcony on the 14th floor of my apartment building. I was on my bike one day and I fell off when it flipped. I sailed over the rail and I thought ''Please God spare my life'' and he did. I caught on to a balcony below me. I was even happier when a man discovered me hanging there. But all of a sudden he started beating my hands with a hammer so I fell again. But the dear Lord saved me again when I landed in a bush. But I''m here now because the guy threw his refrigerator on top of me." It was now the third guy's turn to start his story. "Well, Peter, just picture this. I'm hiding butt naked in this married chick''s refrigerator....."

The salmon sashimi at $5.90 was fantastic *drool drool*. the prawn and bacon stick at $2.50 was good too! on the other hand, the fried teppan rice at $5.90 and ice cream waffle $5.90 were quite a let-down... our total bill came out to $31.50. there goes our $ again...

Short short weekend

Team-bonding Sat

Short weekend cos sat was team-bonding day. We had our team-bonding at orchid country club, although the place a bit 'wulu' , it is equipped with everyting, fm gold course to bowling. Nice place.

The team-bonding was fun, with games (similar to A-star orientation ones), good food (2 teabreaks and sit-down sumptious lunch), and of cos, the sitting down learning about personality, what a team means, the 4-s and 4 stages of a team etc...

ended ard 6pm, went home cos super tired, considering i slept only at 2am on Friday night after class...

Lazy sun (Horton: knockknock, who's there?)

Woke up feeling lazy cos of the grey weather.

Destress by watching cartoons (dvd), this time was 'Bambi' . Story very sweet, i esp loved the rabbit called 'thumper', so cute! I like watching cartoons, cos they bring me to another world, a place where everyting is simple, happy and peaceful amidst the little ups and downs.

Followed by more watching of tv on chan8 (Jin Shun Jia You - repeat). Jin Shun, despite her plain jane face, is so adorable with her humour and down-to-earth attidude. Jam bought me chicken rice for lunch, yummy!

Went to cathay grand for Horton movie. Hungry le by then, so we decided to try the new jap restaurant at b1. Pretty innovative, where other than conveyor belts with sushi (99cents per dish!!!), you can put your food (labelled on little ice cream sticks onto a small basket, bring to the counter so they will deliver to us later while we eat the sushi). Sushi was ok, i mean, 99cents, mai hiam larz. We ordered the king tempura cos singtel customers (just show ur mobile phone) gets 50% off. woohoo. The king tempura is good!

Horton! Yeah, another cartoon. The front part was a little boring, but it just got better and better. We esp loved the little furry thingy that goes 'wahhhhhhh' all the time, oh-so-cute. The show is somewhat refreshing, as it is not the usual 'romantic cartoon' or 'rags-to riches' plots. It is a simple story but there seems to be more than that.

I esp like these 2 quotes from Horton:
1) 'Even though you can't see them at all / A person's a person, no matter how small. '
2) ' I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. '

Found quite a good website on the movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0451079/

Went home tired but happy.

another weekend passes by so fast...

not been updating my little pink blog cos been a tad busy, with work (now need to do labwork in histology on top of my daily workload), school (projects projects and more projects, and 2.5 mths more to exams *gasp*) and not forgetting the important family and frens gatherings...

Relaxing Sat by the Beach

Lunch was at raffles town club 'The Chinese Restaurant' for Gabriel, my little newphew's 3rd bday. The kids had dim sum, well the aunts and uncles (me included) had a 6 course chinese meal. The food was pretty good, with scallop, shark's fin, steamed fish, prawns and my fave, mango pudding. Gabriel's parents were very nice to treat us with such good food. Yummy!

Went with Jam to East coast (ex-Big Splash area, wanna check out the revamp) for dinner. I asked Jam to park quite far away, cos i scared it will be crowded. in the end had to walk 15min to the place, along with jam's grumbling abt parking so far away, indeed a hungry man is an angry man, haha.

We tot there gg to be many restaurants there, but to our dissapointment, there are only 5, one western, one indian, one kopi old town, one sushi teh and one seafood restaurant. As the food was quite steep (we estimated it will cost ard $20 per pax), we went to good old KFC to eat. I had a good meal of original wings, mashed potatoe and coke ($5 only due to offer). Along the way back, we went to get Mac sundae via drive-thru...

Crowded sun

went to golden mile for lunch and while parking at golden mile complex, saw many thais sitting in big circles in the carpark having some gathering. Quite coolz. They all look happy, enjoying their suns too.

walked to golden mile food centre for late lunch. as not hungry, we walked ard level 2, there were many shops selling camping stuff, and I was eyeing this nice pink waterbottle bag (which i can use for jogging or for travelling). perhaps next pay i will go and get it.

had very late lunch there. ate the famous 'chong cheng' mee (but the stall is known for its chilli mee),my $3 mee had so many 'liao' (ingredients) such as towkuah, towgey, prawns, pork ribs, fishcake, egg, etc. eat until very full. Jam had the famous 'kway tiou' with green spinach. We tried the chocolate fondue stall, which is very good, i like it loads! Waffle, ice cream and foundue for $4 plus, cheap and yummy! more info can be found here
http://ieatishootipost.blogspot.com/search/label/9%20Golden%20Mile%20Food%20Centre

after a heavy meal, we went shopping at orchard cos john little got sale. driving there was $#%@ cos there were so many cars and poor jam kept driving in circles cos we kept missing the road signs, haha. the car jams could be due to suntec IT fair, grinz

oh well, another weekend that passes by so quickly...
