Busy weekend

Wedding Lunch at Marina Mandarin
Jam got to noe this thru his colleague who gave up the tix cos he already booked another hotel.

It is pretty similar to the wedding lunch at sheraton hotel, except this time, there was no food during the reception. :( sheraton had nice sashimi, and special drinks....But mandarin goodie bag was good, got Style wedding mag, and Jam's fave 'Home decor' mag, and even a ring cushion!

Lunch is some dishes off the wedding menu, such as cold plate, chicken, prawns. Prefered again the lunch fm shearaton, as those were special dishes, such as shark's fin, duck meat, and chocolate dessert and best part of sheraton lunch, they come in individual plates in big portions.

The bridal gown show at marina was a blast. There were so many gowns, fm nice to weird kinds. Most of the gowns look similar to me, tube/halter with ribbons at the back, so i can't be bothered and busied myself with eating the prawns.

SMU bazaar
we took wrong bus, supposed to go home, but end up at rendezvous hotel bustop and my sharp eye notiecd the opposite bazaar at SMU. So we looked ard, there were many many stalls selling clothes.

Ran into Janchern, my ex dance mate. Gosh, she is still dancing in NUS as alumni, she asked whether I wan to go bk. Of cos i wan but time does not really seem to permit.sighz

Sun lunch with Pammie gang
Met the girls at orchard. Had lunch at the hk cafe in taka (can't rem the name).

Wanted to catch a movie but no nice movies... :(, so there we go shopping again. fm taka all the way to far east plaza.

Nice chatting with the girls. Met jam for dinner before gg home.




It is tuesday now, and I am still so tired fm the rather busy weekend...sianz....

Colleague recommended this ramen stall which just opened in Clark Quay Central. Better go and eat before Feb as the Jap chefs will be back to Japan then......haha

Dinner with irc

went to Han's at great eastern centre to eat dinner, first time there. Wah, there hor, super big.

today nanny sick, so i very guai, never sit next to her, instead sat with my parents, hence got the tender loving care fm my parents during lunch, hehe. a bit sad that my sis cannot join cos her meeting ended late. gong gong also never come cos his event ended late. pet also never come but it is ok, cos breeding is more impt for pet,grinz

nevertheless, the dinner was filled with fun joy and laughter. really nice to see my godpa and wilwil. It's been sometime since i last saw them. They very nice, teach me a lot abt hdb flats.

after han's some of us went to drink teh tarik at far east square. the teh tarik was nice! we talked talked talked laughed laughed laughed before gg home.

As time goes by.......

Met up with lydia babe fm aussie, my really good fren fm JC and i rem we walked home together after JC almost everyday...then she went aussie to study dentist and now she is a dentist there, time flies huh...she came back to sg for 3 weeks and of cos, we gotta meet up for some good old girl talk!hehe

as we gotten attached abt the same time,our conversation today of cos drifted to our 'other halfs', and how r/s changes with time (not for the better,haha). here are some egs:

1st year tog: Guy carries girl's handbag
2nd year tog: Guy occasionally forgets to carry girl's handbag

Phone chats
1st year tog: Daily night chats till wee hours in the morning
2nd year tog: Daily mid-day chats (cos tired after work ma....)
3rd year tog: 1 sms per day if lucky (just to chk whether each other is alive,haha)

V-day
1st year tog: BIG bouquet plus posh dinner over $300
2nd year tog: Small bouquet plus not bad dinner ard $200
3rd year tog: 1 stalk of rose and dinner less than $100

Anniversay
1st year tog: Big Present plus posh dinner over $300
2nd year tog: Not bad present plus ok dinner ard $100
3rd year tog: Present, huh,wat present???

Happy New Year 2008

Not exactly in best of moods to start this first day of the year 2008, but am still happy and contented with my life. :)

My new year resolutions for 2008:-

1) To spend more time with family and frens and colleagues
2) To work and study hard
3) To prioritise my time properly
4) To cut down on unnessasary shopping, haha
4) To exercise! (all my clothes are getting tighter with the days...grinz)

Shall keep it shortand sweet. :)

Realised that people change as time passes, we are no longer who we used to be.......

But what is impt is that people change for the better :)
